Hi,
In this review, I go through every everything the Winter Modular Eloquencer can do. I cover all the features, functions and editing modes, from steps-editing (CV, Gates, Probability, Ratchet, etc..) to creating songs including using external voltage to modify Eloquencer's sequenced parameters via Eloquencer CV Inputs. Every feature shown (I think :)) so it does work as a demo tutorial too I guess.

Note: the video is over one hour long BUT expand the Description (on YouTube) under the video and you will find a clickable index for every section, every section is only a few minutes long, easy to click and watch specific parts to see how they work.

I hope you guys find it useful. Also I will be covering the upcoming firmware update as soon as it is available, so maybe subscribe so you will see the updates and of course more videos coming soon, demos, tutorials, tests, reviews...

ALM-010 Attenuator, Attenuverter, DC Offset

Post by SonicVoltage » Wed Oct 04, 2017 4:06 am

Hi,
A couple of days ago I uploaded a full review of the ALM Busy Circuits ALM 010 - Attenuverter + DC Offset.

It is a practical/tutorial based video as I show and explain how to use all its functions, I build and explain the patches in the video which works as a tutorial witch which you can build patches using any Attenuator, Attenuverter, DC Offset.

I show how to patch an Attenuator / Attenuverter + DC Offset to have control over Voltage Signals (LFO or Random CVs) so that you have live control over Pitch Transpose, Notes range, DSP Parameters, etc.. driving melodies, tweaking the sound coming out of your VCO.

You can see how attenuation, inversion, dc offset is patched and how it affects the signal, in the video I show the waveforms (original and processed by attenuverter/offset) on a Mordax Data so you can graphically see what is happening (before and after waveforms displayed at the same time for easy understanding).

I hope this is helpful to newcomers.

This should be required viewing for anyone starting Eurorack. Robin Vincent explains the basics with the help of a Make Noise STO.
