Well... The LM301 strikes again!

I had to replace both in my S&H as I believe you mentioned a few pages back to get my clock speed down past 5 seconds.

The Buchla 208 build had similar issues with certain ICs too you cod just swap them around to different sockets to get things working properly. Frustrating but easier than looking for other issues.

Yes, I completely forgot about trying swapping the LM301 in the 4012 filter since it was for the most part working. I've been having a blast with my TTSH for the past few days and getting familiar with it. Fun stuff

Hmm.. Mine looked pretty much like what's in the service manual. Doesn't seem like there's much to go wrong in that circuit. Are you using a TL071 as suggested and not a LM301? Are all of the cap values correct?

..Use Molex!

I personally hate those MTA connectors.

They're fantastic when you have the right tools and use the correct wire. Absent those, they can suck.

Man, I don’t know if I want to pony up the $50 for the tool. Is it really that worth it? I take it there is a different tool for each size?

Is it 50$ now? It was 30$ (and well worth it) the last time i checked. But, inflation....

i managed with a small flat head screwdriver and gradually pushed them in in three different spots, either side of the actual connection and into the connection.

just checked it again and it's as per the manual. I guess it is done.
