Does anyone know how much power they're expected to dissipate?
The whole sequencer only consumes about 1.6W so I would reckon they'll be fine. Even if a 1k resistor was placed directly across the 15V power rails to ground (which they're not) then it would dissipate 0.225W.

Thanks for applying logic for me :)

Guys, the only missing part for me to complete the build are the 1 nF caps c40, c41..They are being withdrawn at Mouser, and were not shipped for 3 months now. What these two are involved with? Can I just leave them out?
Local shops in Barcelona don't carry multi layer cog for this value.

No, don’t leave them out as they are there to de-bounce the switches which otherwise have a habit of multiple triggers.

You may use any 1nF ceramic cap, the one in the BOM is not critical.

Yeah that is the only components I need now. I didn't realize I didn't get them until I got my order from Mouser so now I need to come up with some ceramic ones somewhere.

This may be a silly question but I would just like to clarify. For the REV 5 PCBs the BOM says the LM1458s are not used, however there is space for them on the board, and they are included in the dsl-man mouser cart. Should they actually be used? Or should I leave the locations empty? Thank You.

The 1458s are most definitely required.

Hey guys, i hope this is not to much of an off topic. I have an original Arp Sequencer model 1621 that has a broken reset button (the tact switch not the actual button) can anyone point me towards a compatible replacement switch? i would seriously appreciate it

According to the service manual it is a manufacturer's part number DC-51-01. Don't know what make but try Googling the part number.

Boats Order

Post by emuarc » Sun Jul 15, 2018 2:40 pm

Hi
Is anyone interested in buying a boat for the project? I may place an order in August but need to know the potential demand first. Price will be as cheap as I can make it, not looking to make profit. European shipping is easier, but will send to Synthcube as one shipment for US.

Best regards Rob

we'd be very happy to act as a US collection point for any orders from Rob and to manage shipping within US from here :)

Hi,
The original boats were:

5 off @ GBP 53.55 each plus VAT plus p&p.
10off @ GBP 37.40 each plus VAT plus p&p.
20off @ GBP 26.90 each plus VAT plus p&p.
50off @ GBP 20.15 each plus VAT plus p&p.

I will probably order 20 which means around 35 GBP plus shipping to customer. I’ll need to factor in some packing costs.

I will use the same drawing and manufacturer.
