Great Project - using my TTSH via my minibrute by now I would also love to be put down for one PCB + Panel to be able to use them both independently :hihi:

No problem oberling - you're on the list.

Only a couple of PCBs and panels left now, so get in quick if you want one. I'm not intending to do another run of PCBs or panels unless I can get requests for another 20 of each to keep the costs reasonable.

Panels were confirmed today and now going into manufacturing, so should be with me in 2-3 weeks.

Anyone who just wanted PCBs will shortly be getting a PM with total costs as there's nothing stopping me sending those out now. PCBs and panels together will obviously happen when I've got the panels and can weigh them up to work out postal costs.

I'd like a panel and pcb if there are still any left!

Grizzle - Yes, you're in luck, but that's all PCBs and panels now spoken for, so for now this offer is CLOSED - sorry anyone else.

I'll still take names for a wishlist in case there's sufficient for another run of 20 PCBs and panels.

Excellent!

The only point not covered too well in the manual and drawings is that both the Interval Latch and Portamento sockets run normally closed when no jack is inserted, and hence the foot-switches if you're going to use them are normally closed too. I wired the headers to the tip and ring contacts, and jumpered the two switched contacts together. That way you can use a mono or stereo jack with the foot-switch wired to tip and ring (stereo) or tip and barrel (mono).

The sockets themselves need to be isolated from the panel so use insulated ones.

Have fun building. Anything you need to know just ask.

Hi All

It seems the earlier post has triggered a few concerns that some have missed out on PCBs and panels. This is not the case as I have only requested money from the two individuals who wanted PCBs but no panels. I have sent those out as you'll have gathered. All the PCBs are with me (22 in total) and ready to go out when the panels (20 in total) arrive in a week or so.

So that everybody knows if they're on the list I've set them out below in the order that I received them. If anybody would rather not be mentioned then please let me know and I'll edit as necessary.

1. diablojoy
2. gslug
3. aladan
4. Vcs3 (PCB only - sent)
5. Level5
6. qp
7. Techman
8. wavydave (2 PCBs only - sent)
9. jaidee
10. ualslosar
11. ttown23
12. sduck
13. reggiechacha
14. dingbre
15. A member on Gearslutz (2 PCBs and panels)
16. LED-man
17. rockwoofstone
18. Fubard
19. oberling
20. Grizzle
21. xpander (if all the above are still intending to purchase then only a panel is currently available)

There are a couple of maybes at a later date and another who expressed interest but has not replied to 2 PMs over the last few weeks so is assumed to be not interested at this point in time.

If anyone has changed their mind and no longer wishes to purchase, please let me know as xpander would like a PCB too.

I have had an offer from one on the list above (USA-based) to take over PCB supply after this current run, so if anyone ends up disappointed then there's possibly a solution.

I hope that clears up any misunderstanding and unfounded disappointment.

Update 22nd September:

I've been in touch with the panel supplier and they'll be delivering to me next week, so once I've weighed up and priced the delivery I'll PM everybody to give the final price.

Sorry for the wait.

Not long now!!!

Indeed you should!

I've spent the last few days covering my keyboard case in Tolex using a strong contact adhesive (Time-Bond). It's a thoroughly unpleasant job I can tell you and not easy to get right. I've learnt to score the backing fabric to aid bending which helps a lot, but still awkward and highly time-consuming, not to mention very smelly indeed!

I'll post some pics when it's finished.

BTW I'm starting work on the 1601 sequencer clone too but don't hold your breath - it's a much bigger project and there's no guarantee I'll complete it or offer it as a PCB/panel if I do.

3620 or 1601 or both perhaps?

If the 1601 gets off the ground I'll start a new thread to avoid any confusion. Still waiting to see if zthee announces his extended version at some point, and AMSynths have a rack version on the cards too.

Well the panels have finally arrived!!! :nana:

Very pleased with them - wish I'd had one made for myself too, but in a way I prefer my home-made version.

The cutout on the back is for clearance for the toggle switch which is a little higher than everything else. You may still have to bend the mounting tabs down a bit or cut them off - they are not needed.

I'll be sending out PMs to those requesting panels and PCBs over the next couple of days with the total cost including postage once I've weighed each package up. Payment by PayPal please or cash if anyone wishes to collect (at least one does I know of). Details will be in the PMs - please don't forget to add your full name and address when paying. The packages will be sent out as soon as I receive payment.

Almost finished covering the MDF case with Tolex. What a horrible job - it's taken more than a week of evenings but it's going well so far. I'll upload a photo of the completed unit as soon as.

OK that's noted. A long way short of another run of 3620 PCBs and panels at present but who knows....

1601 may or may not become a reality - I really want one for myself so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks synthsearcher2

I've put you on the wish-list which stands at about 5 at present. Really needs 20 to get the costs down so any shameless plugging anyone can do may make it happen sooner.

Evening all, well it is here in Old Blighty.

Everybody on the first run please check your inbox - I have sent out a PM to everyone with payment details etc.

If anyone has changed their mind, please let me know ASAP as there are others waiting, and currently insufficient to warrant a second run.

Regards to all.
