Yeah so I built this one in about an hour or so, very straightforward build if you have the parts available.

The silly thing I did was initially build it from the Fonitronik BOM, there is a slight difference regarding r15b. I was like R15B?!?!?! Then when I found the Timo BOM it all became clear. I used 33k for r15 and r15b and I think the range is fine. I have built several Polivoks filters and they were generally worse in this regard.
It sounds quite sweet and tidy, my most well behaved filter so far. The whistling from the self resonance sounds very pure siney.

All in all, very doable and rewarding little project, I give it the thumbs up!

Hey guys,

Did people use MICA caps for 15pf and 820pf as per Foniks Bom?

They seem super expensive?

Cheers.

nah, he used them because he had them lying around, poly film should be fine.

esp the 15pF is not that important, this is just for preventing oscillation of the opamp, I think I even used a ceramic capacitor
for the 820pf I used a polypropylene (evoc pfr5)

I would be in for a PCB + Chip as well, especially if it could be combined with the steiner parker filter shipment.
