Hi all, I bought a "factory" EC and perhaps this is my misunderstanding but I am observing something that doesn't seem right:

1. Module boots up with rainbow LEDs.
2. All LEDs subsequently flash red, blue, green.
3. Twisting any encoder causes the LEDs to turn white.
4. Long pressing any encoder appears to do nothing. No change in the red, blue, green, blinking.
5. Pressing the F button causes the top circle to flash white, then the middle, then the bottom continuously until F is tapped again.
6. Long-pressing F appears to do nothing.

I've tried pressing holding the middle encoder on setting 16 to try to reset all setting, but there is no feedback from the module and circle 1 and 3 continue flashing red, blue green even while circle two is at sixteen and encoder two is held.

Hi there,

sorry for that, the unit seems to have shipped in production test mode.

to exit that:

- turn the three encoders so all rings are white
- press the three encoders so that the buttons light white
- press the F-button
- wait 3s

Received the kit from SynthCube and assembled over the Easter weekend, great fun!
It worked almost perfectly on first power-up, just had to touch up one of the LED pads

Only slight complaint is the kit didn't include any nuts for the jacks, I've got a bunch spare though so it's not a problem.
I would encourage anyone who's unsure about the SMD soldering to give it a go, it's not as hard as it looks.

Also... I'm new here... hi :)

Is there any sort of way to CV the pattern? Maybe just a trigger signal to change? This module seems amazing for a performance, but I'd like to have some CV control over this. This would replace my Zularic Repetitor if the Euclidean Circles can receive CV.

No CV in at all. That's its main limitation.

I believe PNW and Disting provide CV control over Euclidean Rhythms.

Also DNIPro DOT. Made my own version of that, it's awesome.

well, for the kit contents, that's under Synthcube control. I won't comment on the choice of knobs ;)
