Forgive the expression, but I am going cross-eyed trying to locate the mta-100 euro power connecter/header as specified for the euro VCM. I opted for the easier modules to start with and have hit a wall for the evening. None of the above carts don't seem to have this.

HALP!

I'm getting started on a 12-panel 4U R*S Serge project. Got a question maybe someone can help with. The VCFS board I received has surface mounted components, but the build docs and BOM still refer to a through-hole version. There is an unmarked location for a capacitor, which my guess is a 470n film. Also there is a jumper shown on the solder mask, near this capacitor (above and to the right in the photo), and I don't know what it might be for.

Thanks,
Richard

M$ Excel file with MOSTLY correct booms for Mantra Panel, ResEQ, Wave Multipliers, RING and Triple Wave Shaper for 4x4.

Also includes non-mouser parts without sources or part numbers. Alternate LED colors and Potentiometer totals tabs.

Don't import this into mouser and expect 100% complete/correct parts, it's intended as a starting point. Suspect are the spacing headers and any right angle MTA parts. Do your diligence and sanity check. Also, don't complain to me about fixing anything, I am rarely on here.

All that said, I did build my Mantra successfully with it though. 8-)

In the past couple months I have built a large number of the RS Serge 4 x 4s. In the preparation I made a large spreadsheet for all the individual modules. If it would be helpful I can post it here. It is fairly complete with part numbers etc. It's not perfect but it's a good starting point. Mouser cart would probably not be beneficial because they're all in there together.

Did you build the Dual PCO? I was wondering if it is available as DIY

Just reminded me that the NCOM is mainly SMD parts now. Its worth waiting for the boards and checking them rather than going straight from the R*S BOMS. I ended up on spending money on some parts I didn't need in the end.

No... they're not offering it as DIY currently. I didn't want to wait. A lot of the newer modules are mostly preplaced SMT with very little additional components. I suspect the PCO would've been very much the same. The price stung a little haha. But it's pretty awesome.
