Indeed!! that looks beautiful!
Going to add all these fantastic builds to my site
I love what you did with all the functions
what does the Y1/Y2 switch do?

Y1/ Y2 switch decides if toggle switches are conected to Y1 or Y2 on the pcb. I have one question. I think that I have v4 pcb. Is it possible to do starve mod on this version of pcb. I have not looked at schematics yet.

When powering from battery:
yes, you can solder a 10k (or whatever you have in stock) between the 9v and the battery cable
Pot wiring:
right or left pin: battery
middle pin: 9v connection on the pcb
remaining pin: gnd on the pcb.
the GND of the battery cable has to be connected to the GND of the pcb too.
When powering from the eurorack connection:
This is a bit harder to accomplish. you will need to cut some connections on the pcb.
If you are going to do this, pm me and i'll help!

my weekend project

before building it: congrats on the builddoc. it is a rare expcetion that a builddoc gives a bit of information on what components actually do. I really enjoyed seeing the info on what each IC's raw function is.
Suggestion: also include a basic schematic. So we can see how it fits together.

The schematic is now included in the build files .
(I forgot it in the new 'list' on my site)
ps: I now have new PCB's, smaller that before and with a header for a near future expander module. think automated switches

I built this module about two months ago as on of my first DIY projects and like it a lot! Now I want to build an expander with switches for the patchbay...
For this it would be good to know how the divisions of the clock divider are spread over the X1 noisebay - like if I look at the PCB, which division is in the upper left corner and how do they continue to the lower right corner (I hope this is understandable)...
If anyone can help me out concerning this question I would really appreciate it!

I can!
Which pcb version do you have?
And i'm building a switcher as en expansion. The prototype is a lot of fun already. (3 lfo's switch 6 divisions.)
The newest pcb's have a expansion header for just this (but with 6 lfo's / 6 ext inputs) but you can also make this with the older types.
I can give you some tips / pointers if you like!

Wow - that's a fast answer!
My PCB is v0.5f...
Really interesting to hear about your expander plans - Just had a short look a the new build doc and seems like an interesting development of the module...
I really like the work you do - keep on doing it!

The newest PCB with 6 lfo's , 6ext inputs that you mentioned, is that the .5F PCB that's the latest?
Thanks

That is an awesome panel!.. does that conform to eurorack size? if so, will you make it available for sale?
Thanks.

the newest pcb is v6. but all pcb's will be compatible with the expander, just need some wiring.
@BRNDSCHTZN
you can pm me with specific questions about your expansion plans

Thanks FetidEye!
I have a few days of work coming up, but will come back upon your offer as soon as I find the time to dive deeper into that expander thing...

I don't see that on Etsy, only the v5. Is it available?

oh, I have to correct that. the noise kits on Etsy are all v6.
the previous versions are sold out. most of the time , when I order new pcb's I change some things and it becomes a new version.
I like to update my designs all the time
v6 is a smaller pcb, so it will fit in shallow cases & small enclosures
(and it has a expander header plug)

I've also made some "boutique" versions of the Noise (and Creep Cluster)
lookylook :

I've never measured it, but I think it is not much.
I'll check later!

Will the expander be available soon?
I'd like to order it along with the V6 Euro panel and PCB
