Awesome! :bananaguitar: :sb: :tu: :hyper:
... why buy it for $100 when you can build it yourself for $150?

Finally - all systems go this weekend. The CNC's been setup and is ready for production. I have just to make cutting paths on the drawings, all a load more work than I ever thought! But unless there's some problems this weekend, production begins this weekend.

Sorry it's taken so long, there's been plenty of :bang: on the way and suspect there will still be more :bang: and  to come, but the result should be :yay: :guinness: :nana:

Cheers

Can I be added to the list for one of these? The version minus the speaker cut out?

Thanks.

I'd like mine either with allowance for both speaker and battery, or neither. Seems pointless having batteries if no speaker, and vice versa. So all or none for me.

Either way, I'd like allowance for the MIDI port, hopefully with pre-cut panel to fit it right in.

Excellent news! :)

I believe we have chatted via PM - and I am definitely down for an enclosure... thought I don't see my name on the 1st post list :)

All good for me... just don't want to be lost in the mix :)

All my best,

Getting there, albeit with plenty of :bang: :bang: on the way. I'm having to refine parameters on the way. Work, children & illness keep slowing me down. I'm going to try get a couple of days off regular work to try get the first 20/30 cases manufactured. Watch this space.

I'll finally have a working version tomorrow <fingers crossed no more hiccups> and will post a quick construction video.

Cheesy video alert!!!

Hey crustibooga

How's it looking for cases pre-Xmas? Only ask as mine will be going under the tree for my boy :miley:

Thanks again for all your efforts with this

what are the measurements of the smaller top panel?
i am designing a multiFX board for my Jasper right now and it might be interesting for others when it fits into this case, too.

Hi folks, I know, I know... It's taking for ever! I'm working whenever I can to get these manufactured, the wooden parts are underway, the aluminium so far has given me all sorts of sh.. But this will be sussed soon. There will be half a dozen people getting cases (they know who they are). I will put a build video up ASAP.

In the mean time here are some pics. (please note the front and rear panels in the pics are plastic and not the final versions and the key bed and rear panel will be black) This is my tester unit.

Hi Matthias,

the multiFX sounds great! :yay:

The rear panel is 65mm deep 398mm wide. I'll pm you later about getting a case.

Cheers

Looking like an awesome case. My jasper is ready for the case, but I'm glad that you're taking the time to make a really good case.

Altitude has quite rightly brought up the subject of speakers and more importantly speaker mounting hole positions. I bought my 40x70mm speaker from eBay, approx £2.20 with mount holes at 32x62mm 4mm in. I'm going to suggest this format as it's easier: 4x7 speaker

If anyone has a better suggestion, let me know as am happy to accommodate any ideas.

I have to say though, I'm going to continue to machine panels with the above specs until any other better suggestions are adopted.

Also although I'm really busy I hope to get a rough build video up next week.
