Another question, if I may:

For some reason I ended up short one 1/8" jack. I bought the stuff so long ago I don't know if I lost it, or never got it in the first place... In any case, does anyone know a replacement jack available from Mouser for this? I'm doing an order for another project, so I'd love to just add it on, rather than buy from someone else and pay $$$ for shipping one jack. TIA

The jacks are the cliff type, I get the clones from Small Bear but they are closed right now. PM and I'll get you sorted

This has been sitting in the box of the shamefully unfinished but slowly making my way through some things after a long hiatus...

I just put everything together and receiving midi properly but the CV/Gate in is not working with the exception of the gate LED. There are a few mentions of this in the thread but was this ever rectified? This is using fw v0.09a.

did you set the root note? it wont play out of range notes so you have to set the range to your liking

I did the go through the CV range configuration but perhaps I didn't do this properly...pressed the button and chose note 0, 12, 24 and 36.
am I missing something?

You should only pick one range

CV range configuration:
1) Press the learn button to put the JasperIn into configuration mode
2) To configure the CV input range, send one midi note in the octave listed in the following table:
CODE: SELECT ALL

Midi Note # | Octave | Range
0 to 11 | -2 | 0.083v-3v
12 to 23 | -1 | 1.083v-4v
24 to 35 | 0 | 2.083v-5v
>35 | Any | 3.083v-6v

Just got back to this and it looks like cv and gate aren’t working. Gate LED is illuminating with incoming gate but I’m guessing this is just connected directly to the socket. Link header seems to be connected properly but is there anything I could be missing?

Do you have half the voltage at TP1? That goes through R4 and then straight to the ADC on the uC

Thanks for the reply. Yes I do. I’ll pull the board and look at the uC more closely on my scope. Someone else in this thread mentioned a similar problem so I thought maybe there was some relationship but maybe it’s just a bad connection or something else. I’ll also reload the fw just in case. I suppose the last option would be to replace the uC but I’ve been having so many issues burning them lately on my new laptop I just don’t want to deal with it. Hah
