Need help to ID a part (e350 Morphing Terrarium)

Post by Steam Shield » Fri Jan 06, 2017 5:40 pm

So I was rearranging my case and by accident broke a part off of my e350 due to a cable that was stretched too tight directly into it. Totally my bad.

Now I am trying to figure out which part this is and where to find it.

The part is from L6.

If anybody can ID this, you RULE!

The manufacturer could identify which part it is. :despair:

L is inductor, btw. Unfortunately, I don't own the module.

Day saved. It's a ferrite-shielded inductor used in the power supply.

Good thing all SynthTech modules have a lifetime warranty :bananaguitar:

Oaky the part has been IDed!.. thanks to everyone who posted.

The comment from The 67 was especially helpful to start the part search and later Paul confirmed the correct part which is from the H series from Panasonic.

Next comes the solder work... thankfully this component uses some larger pads that should be relatively easy to work on and should be oaky for my novice solder skills. Basically I can't wait to use the e350 again.

That's really awesome to help out so quickly, especially as I have my eye on a few Synthtech modules. That Deflector Shield is so cool!!

I have the exact same problem -- any insight into where you located the part and tips for soldering it in place would be appreciated!

Thanks!
