I have a bunch here (US). Happy to send you some for the cost of shipping if you want to PM me.steviet wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 6:55 pmAnyone know where to grab 15mm tact switches that isn't E-Bay? It's the last piece I need and I am dying to get this thing going... I don't want to wait 1.5 months for shipping. I reached out to an E-Bay seller about quicker shipping but that isn't looking too promising.
Anyone in the America's want to sell me 5 15mm tactile switches?

That's super kind of you, thanks a bunch. PM sent!

@steviet: Looks like you've found a source for the switches already. Just wanted to mention that I've bought 13mm switches from Mouser (part nr.: 688-SKHHDT). These are still high enough to correctly press when mounted in the front panel. But, I used some plastic stripes (credit card thickness) underneath to avoid getting them to low when soldering.
Concerning the spacers, it's 10mm between front panel and hardware board, and 12mm to the main board.

Re: Deckards Dream General Build Thread
OK I almost finished my Decard's Dream MK1 except for 1 voice board. It just doesn't want to calibrate. Everything seems to work. OSC B sound fine, OSC A though runs on a very low frequency, but I do have Saw, Square, Noise, the VCF works, the VCA works. But it just doesn't tune when I run the calibration. I did a visual inspection of the PCB on both sides with a magnifier glass. I don't see any shorts. All components are the right value and correctly oriented. Anyone any idea where I should start solving this? Any help appreciated!

Are all your chips seated properly, all the way in? Do any of them seem loose? Where did you get your parts - was it a synthcube kit, or did you piecemeal it together? Good high resolution photos of both sides of that voice board might provide some clues, if you can do that.

Re: Deckards Dream General Build Thread
I fixed it ! I started swapping ICs with another board. And it turned out to be one of my CEM3340's. I bought the parts from synthcube, but luckily they send one extra in my kit, so I replaced it with the spare I had and voila
It works. Happy Man
I think I'll play the rest of the evening and night on it now
Thank you all for the support.

Quick one guys
In the interest of “instant gratification”, If i build just one voice,
Can I plug it into the main board and play it?
Or does the synth only work with all voices in place?
Cheers.

One card works in slot #1, just use menu to restrict available cards to 1.
Re: Deckards Dream General Build Thread
and remember that Slot 1 is the one farthest away from the power supply card.

Yeah I made that mistake too
I did a build series on my blog with my experiences and mistakes. Maybe it is helpful for someone:
