We would like to tell you about the enclosure of our 909.
We decided to start the process of creating by detailed researching of the original case, we wanted to understand what could be improved, and as a result we’ve made two important things more reliable.
The first one is is the side panels, the original panels are made of plastic and fastened with latches and screws. Such the way of mounting was not reliable (it got out of order over time) and to keep our case strong, we decided to use aluminium sides.
It adds strength to the case, M4 bolts are much stronger than plastic latches (and yeah, M4 bolts makes overall sound better indeed, lol), and.. as a great bonus we have a lot of color options for the panels.
The second one is painting. The original enclousure was covered with a film that was printed on. We tried this method and realised that this way had bad accuracy and low reliability and it was aesthetically imperfect as well. We were faced with the fact that the film tended to peel off near the switches. Thus we decided to use powder paint and silk screen printing.
Powder coating is very reliable and durable, it makes us possible to use various colours. At the moment we’re going to make panels with classic and black colours. Maybe you have any idea which ​​colour to add? You’re welcome guys! Let’s make our palette together!

They will include in full kits.
