Awesome stuff, all :sb: Love the case Mkeys  Been pondering whether to do a plexi case for the TTSH or not.

How’s the Zlob VCA, Noodle Twister? That’s a lot of VCA’s on a very small space :tu:
I don't know how I managed without it but it's very likely I will build another at some point. :tu:

Finally finished this.

Still needs to come apart one more time to have the stereo out mod applied when that's ready.

I don't care I'll give you my two cents here anyway. What I did - built up 2 voice cards. Then, the power, main board and interface board and rear in/out board. Then, get it all put together, program the thing, make sure the 2 voice cards work. then attack the other cards. I find I can do 2-3 voice cards at a time - more than that and I lose track of what i'm doing. This way you'll at least have a working device early on, and can get a feel for how it works. Also, check out the Kijimi build group over on facebook if you can - that's where the bulk of build info happens - there's a thread here, but it's completely dead.

There's an issue with the voice cards that you need to deal with, and some BOM changes to get the voice cards working optimally. Also a stereo out mod that you might want. You can find out about that stuff on facebook, or post about it here in the build thread, and I or someone wil ltry to help out.

I have been soldering the Ginkosynthese Sampleslicer mk II DIY kit.

Very nice build and cool module.
Next is Voltage Runner.

Im also apparently still learning how to do pictures

This month, I finished two modules from Mammouth Machine, a small local producer.

Oh, and I also took the opportunity to buy a fuzz pedal kit as well.

"Turbo" or "Pixel Turbo" is a complete portable noise box that I designed and made. I started in 2016 I think, planned to make a few, but life keeps getting in the way. This is number 5 of 10 - to get to 10 I have to make more boxes and repair some voice cards!
IMG_20200301_145851.jpg
Features:
2 VCOs, triangle and pulse outputs. Track 1V/Oct with themal compensation over about 3 octaves.
Resonant State-variable filter, low-pass and bandpass
Tri/pulse LFO with ramp up/down control
Sample and hold (samples VCO1 triangle, clocked by VCO2 or external source)
Comparator (VCO2 sets threshold, VCO1 is input) can be fed into filter as modulation
VC crossover for two VCOs (into filter) and VC topology crossover (fade between filter modes)

Includes knobs to feed in S&H to VCO1, VCO1 to FM VCO2 and comparator to filter cutoff.

CV in and out on everything

Box is walnut finished with Danish oil

Biggest mistake was making this through hole, in the time I have developed it I have moved to SMD pretty much exclusively!!

I might make a little vid next weekend 😉

Maybe not so much to brag about, but I finished a batch of 4 Antumbra 6MIX. Neat little utility module worth every penny (i.e. virtually none), and my first SMD build so I'm fairly pleased:

I don't post every module I build here, but this was my second attempt at a module built with surface mount parts, and first to be completed successfully without outside assistance... PMFoundations dual ring modulator.

I've seen another project similar to this -- it's an EMR listener, pretty simple actually -- but that was just PCB files. I had problems trying to find a source for the right pots and jacks for it. This one came from SPAD Electronics in Italy and was a full kit, so no such worries. Quick and easy build, fun for probing around your computers and screens and such :)

Utilities day! A couple of boards I designed in Kicad. First, a power supply (based on the AI Synthesis schematic, thanks Abe!) that fits inside the 4ms Pod 64x. Second, a little tool that doubles as a cable tester and ammeter utility. It can switch each power channel to an external header for hooking up a multi meter. I used M2 mounts rather than M3 on the test board..

I built the MI module tester a while ago. But today I added a mini-bus board so I can run a couple of modules simultaneously and jam on my desk. And finally a thing that is not an instrument. I crammed a little bench power supply into an enclosure. I had to brutalize the panel a bit to get it all to fit :despair:

Did some Kicad work and send off to have boards made for the CGS quad logic gate (minus LEDs and with 2n3904 isntead of BC547), error in the Digikey library pin assigment for the 2N3904 that I should have caught but didn't, so I have to bend the #2 and #3 legs around on all 4 transistors. Oh well, still works fine and as always was a learning experience. Now I can build one of all five varieties.

A lot of utilities on one panel... Mainly because it is stuff I tend to use a lot and wanted on a smallish panel to put in my smaller cases...
