Completed assembly.

From what I can see, everything is working. Lights flash, rise and fall knobs work as expected.

Now I need to learn how to use it.
Great. I would check the patch suggested in the first post. Also if you have plaits, try to interpatch it (outs of vortex to ins in plaits).

Take clock out as a 4th clock divider and shft as a rungler or experimental sequencer

I don’t have Plaits, but I used a Behringer Model D.
Everything works, and it’s an amazing device. So simple, yet very powerful.

I built a Benjolin recently. Playing Vortex Generator is similar fun.

Overall, I have few criticisms of this gadget:
-The big holes for the pots were a little too tight for the Alps 9mm pots I got from Mouser. It was a struggle snapping them in.
- there is nothing firmly securing the two boards together.

I already want to build another, it’s a fun little project.
