Good feet for cases ?
So I have two cases, one with 3 'feet' (one missing) and one with none. I need to buy eight and fit them.
To help prevent unwanted wobble, and to secure them so that they don't slide back when patching, whats a good choice of material ? Anti-skid or perhaps rubber ?
Both sit on a wooden table. Does anyone have some favourite feet for their modular they tend to use when building cases ?

I have the feet in bulk but I don't know if you want to pay shipping to the uk. you also need to source your own bolts. UK shipping has gone up recently. blame USPS. I would charge $12 shipping and $8 for 8 feet.

Hi, thanks for the offer.
The problem is that anything valued over $15 get's a customs charge added. Recently bought a panel and pcb from NA and by the time I have bought parts the cost will be approaching a ready built Doepfer model

I buy soft rubber feet at the local hardware store. It’s a pretty standard thing to stock. The choice is not really a critical decision IMO.

Hardware stores do indeed sell rubber things that look like cabinet feet, though I think they are sold as doorstop / buffers. They can be very cheap but softer rubber than proper feet. I've bought proper feet (hard rubber with a washer inside) from places like Rapid Electronics. The Self-adhesive ones I've never known to stay put.

I had a look as I mistakenly believed that shipping cost is included in value. It isn't.EATyourGUITAR wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:10 am$8 so no problem thereNoodle Twister wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 10:03 pmHi, thanks for the offer.

I'm guessing a bolt, washer and nut is used to secure them ?

they have adhesive but I would just pull it off with solvent and attach with some kind of bolt. you can add a washer if you don't have flange nuts. whatever fits the feet without biting into the feet too much. generally bigger is better if it tucks inside that 0.4 in height and that inner diameter. you can also leave the adhesive backing on and bolt it in. I would remove it for dust reasons.

Too lazy/busy to leave the house to get your feets?
Amazon
These have worked well for me in my case builds, which have ranged from 84 to 126hp wide.

Re: Good feet for cases ?
They are certainly beyond minimum requirements for a euro case! The space allowance provides the ability to stack cases and install a 'guitar amp' handle to lug them around by, if that is your jam. Haven't done it yet myself, but I like the look of the ol' stomper feets.

I was wondering which type wigglers have had best results with.wendallsan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 11:58 amToo lazy/busy to leave the house to get your feets?![]()

From the replies it looks like rubber ones secured properly to the case for best results.
Didn't know if anyone had tried silicone or some other material with better results.
The silicone ones seem to be mostly self adhesive which is probably less durable.
Thanks for the help

Yeah, for adhesion, I would trust screws over glue!

Re: Good feet for cases ?
It also depends on what you're sticking the feet onto. As others have said, screws are your best bet
