Is there a mouser # for the pots with switches? I tried to extrapolate one from the datasheet with no luck.

Also, and I'm jumping the gun as I'm not nearly ready for it, but the software? Hex file?

No, those are custom made parts. The only option right now for the DIY version is the tact switches, the switch pots wont be here for several more weeks due to production delays. I'm not sure if this has been fully explained but its EITHER regular pots and the tacts OR the Switch pots

I guess I missed that bit, will you make the custom switches available for sale when they arrive? I wouldn't mind waiting for what seems like the better option.

edit: it appears I got the panel without the holes for the tactile switches, so pots or bust

yes. I'll make them available when they arrive.

It also looks like there was a mixup with some of the panel orders and people got the click pot versions instead of the tact ones. If you want to wait for the click pots, they will be here in 2ish weeks otherwise drop me a PM and i'll get you a tact panel replacement

I will just wait, I like the more minimal interface with the switch pots. Thanks for the offer though :)

Yes, I also got the click pot panel, but am perfectly fine with waiting for the pots from you.

Here is a little video of:

The X and y outputs of one of the chaos attractors are modulating a synth tone,
the the strange attractors X and Y are also assigned to the AUX CV outs and on to the oscilloscope in XY mode.

names of the attactors are on the video. (14 of them so far)

Anyone got a mouser BOM set up for the time challenged?

Are you using the attractor algorithms to modify a different VCO, or is it feeding back into the same DoT?
Fun stuff, no matter!

it is the same module playing the sound, any modulator is available anywhere there is modulation, including the aux cv outs, and it does not "cost" any more to send one to multiple destinations.

in this case one axis is controlling the "filter frequency" FX and the other slightly changes one of the osc parameters.

Sweet.
I ordered two sets from Altitude before even seeing your response. Heh.

Any chance that I (and others) can get a solder mask to send to (e.g.) OSHstencils?.. I abhor manually soldering SMD, but thoroughly enjoy placing components and putting ‘set’ boards in my reflowster.

Thanks for this, I know I’ll enjoy it,

I uploaded the top solder paste gerber, is that enough to make a stencil?

Thanks!, It successfully uploads to OSHstencils (and opens in Gerbview), although it gave me the following warning:

"DipTrace often defaults to a pad swell size that is too small for common QFNs and ICs. Please verify your image looks correct and that no pads are missing or too small. If your pads are too small, set your swell size to 0 for those pads and re-upload your design."

The pads for ICs do indeed look pretty small and thin, compared to other SOICs and compared with the images of the boards.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it!

Almost done building a mouser BOM cart, but I am finding trouble with a few pieces on the BOM, any clarification would be appreciated:

10u CAPAE-4.3x4.3h5.4
47u CAPAE-4.3x4.3h5.4
100u CAPAE-4.3x4.3h5.4

And the last item on the BOM just says CAP_0603 without a value.

I assume the other three are Capacitors, Aluminum Electrolytic. But I cant find that footprint on Mouser or through the googles.

Thanks!

Not sure which BOM you are looking at. This is the official one

For anyone who is interested here is a Mouser cart for everything but the jacks, the display, and I left out the buttons/pots which could be the click pots. Also no knobs of course.

That seemed to make a difference. I'm going to go ahead and order the stencil and will report back once received.
Thank you for this: You're the best!
