... but its EITHER regular pots and the tacts OR the Switch pots
Aren't there eight tact switches even if one gets the Switch pot version? ...That's how it appears in the renderings...
Asking because the BOM's note is "Not used with the click pots", but that's misleading, right?

I re exported with zero paste swell can you try that?
That seemed to make a difference. I'm going to go ahead and order the stencil and will report back once received.
Thank you for this: You're the best!
tbh, i've been using the smaller paste footprint with my stencil and its fine. The only part in question is the DAC and that is a TSSOP part that really needs very small cutouts (like ridiculously small)

With new panels, are they new-new, i mean without the small bug that you mention on the site - is that it?

Cheers! :hail:

anyone have a suggestion on good knobs?
I think the knobs in the photo Neutron7 posted look pretty good, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Knobs are a matter of taste. I suggest looking around on small bear electronics - they have a great selection of different knobs - and figure out what you like.

Thanks Altitude,

One last thing, VR1, VR2, VR3, VR4, VR5, VR6 are 10kb pots as in the BOM 858-P0915N-FC20BR10K

Also, lcd needs spacers right?

Cheers

Depends, as noted above, I screwed up the first batch of panel orders and shipped the click pot ones. The corrected ones will be here tuesday so I'll continue sending replacements then. Alternatively, the click pots are scheduled to ship on the 24th (also tuesday) and I'll make those available for the DIY people so if you want to go that route, simply wait till next week and order the pots then

OLED spacers should be 6mm, i've never found ones I like at mouser (I used nylon ones) but I'll make a note on the BOM for those

Did you figure this out?

And what did you use for the switched pots?

are there any important specs on the sd card? the one listed in the BOM is out of stock at mouser.

edit: similarly the bat54s is also out. can anyone point me towards suitable substitutions?

much thanks

class 10 is recommended.

any BAT54S will work fine provided its SOT-23

fixed. qty was right but designators were missing. Just a side note on this for anyone that goes by the diptrace files. The bypass caps dont have a value on them so if you search for 0.1u, they wont show up (C6 and C17 will)

I went with BAT54SLT1G for mine.

Half done. Looking forward to it.

About BAT54S you may be tempted to use non “S” ones, but that S is not simply a grade bin like a transistor or op-amp
287043BE-E1CE-483B-A0A6-96D8C89843B6.png
, the different suffix letters mean the 2 diodes are wired differently, and can cause bad things, including shorting power to ground!

If you finish your module, can you post what your calibration value ends up? mine is +6 with +42 cents 0 semis for A=440

by the way i just uploaded a new 0.8.1 with a better config screen. you can see the pitch frequency while you adjust the calibration. play octaves and get it as close to doubling frequency each octave, then once you are happy with it, you can adjust cents and semitones to A=440. then press the right screen button to save.

Can I get some clarification about what resistor this is?

I could probably figure it out eventually by the process of elimination, but an official clarification would ease my mind. Somewhat. For a little while at least.
