Yamaha CS70M Keyboard - the way in?

Post by mOBiTh » Thu Feb 06, 2020 2:42 pm

Hey guys

I have a CS70 I need to open up and I'm wondering how you do it. Removed the obvious screws along the outer edges of the hinged upper panel but no joy. Trying not to undo more screws than necessary!

Cheers

Ok for the record!

There are 4x hex head bolts - two on each side of the base - that look like they may be holding the keybed in place but are actually holding the end cheek uppers in place. Unscrew those (and no other screws) and bob is your uncle.

Thanks to Kent (KSR) for the advice :guinness: :guinness:
