STLink V2 on Linux

I have redently made the leap to Arch Linux (mostly) full time.
I'm an IT Guy in a wondows shop so I have no shortage of Micosoft OSs available but I want to use Linux as much as possible

has anyone macged to Flash a DIY MI Module with an STLink V2 on Linux?
I tried QSTLlink2 and get the Error STLinkV2/ Nucleo not foun did you insall udev rules?

I am xhasing htat down seperately but thought I would ask here asa i think there is more that one way to do this.

After using an Olimex JTAG debugger for years, I recently started to use the STLink on a discovery board to flash MI modules in the MI development VM, which is Linux. This uses OpenOCD and to get it working, I had to change to the STLink V2.1 config. STLink V2 would not work.
