Does anybody know what pot to use for the Edit knob, SW1. I can't find this out anywhere. Thanks

It's an encoder.

Have a look at the Yarns BOM.

it's not in the boms, you can get them on ebay etc

It's described in the MI BOM (SW1) but it isn't referenced with a manufacturer's number.

The important thing is to have enough of the threaded collar of the encoder protruding through the front panel to attach a nut after you've mounted the other components which protrude through the front panel.

I don’t know anything about encoders is the problem, other than there are both 12 and 24 positions to choose from

The MI BOM specifies 24 pulses per revolution with a push switch.

You should be ok with 12 pulses, you'll just need to turn it more to change values.

MI modules often use PEC11R-4220F-S24 encoders. But Yarns can be tricky because the DIN jacks are very tall. You may have to solder the 3 switches and the encoders a little bit above the PCB after mounting everything on the panel, as indicated by cnicht.
