Oscillosaurus panels

Post by dkmb » Sun Sep 13, 2020 1:17 am

hello :)

i'm tremendously enjoying learning to solder synthesizer modules together and am planning to build some of the mutable instruments modules soon - they seem so wonderful. in learning about building them, i stumbled onto the gorgeous oscillosaurus panels, for example:

i would love to use these but sadly can't find them for sale or contact information for oscillosaurus. i've found a few panels on synthcube, but still am looking for grids, ripples, rings, and marbles.

as i'm new to this world i'm also not sure if i'm maybe misunderstanding and should diy the panel itself? i've come to learn that to make some modules you need files for eagle or another eda or need to order a pcb but am not sure if that is the expectation for panels. would love to buy from oscillosaurus directly but they don't seem to have a website or public contact information.

if anyone could point me in the right direction i would be very appreciative.

thank you

He's contactable there, I believe. Modular Addict had all of his panels, but they're in the process of renewing their site at the moment.
Hope that helps!

If you’re building the mutable modules I’d check out magpie as well, he has very nice panels for the whole range.

Also check out Pusherman if you have the chance. The anodized ones designed by Antumbra are simply beautiful and very well priced. I love Magpie but sometimes the printing can be a bit off relative to price. Replaced all magpie Mutable with the above and haven't looked back.
