IP1 and IP2 are input/power protection, I think, and should be either a 10 Ohm resistors or ferrite beads (I think!!) Maybe AlanP can comment on this?
Edit: as AlanP stated on the first page of the thread, the omit resistors should be left free, and not be wired over. So no connection instead of 0 ohms.
I used ferrite beads in my build, seems to work fine.
Btw in case anyone has any spare 258 boards/ panels i would gladly take them off your hands for a couple of beers, cheers!
Built one allready and I love it but I’ve never had my own boards made before and I’m lusting for another one!

I just whacked some ferrites in there. Deliberately open-ended

Hey, AlanP,
If I want to use MMBFj201s in the 258, should I still measure for IDSS of .8-1.1? I now measured 40 of them, and none really came close

I just tried a couple of random ones, and they seemed to work okay. They're cheap enough to risk a couple

Okay, than that is what I will do. I hope my adaptors still survive some changes, after like 40 heating cycles

Thanks for the quick answer. Now I just need to wait for my backordered THAT340s......

Oh. They did not tell me THAT (

) in the mail contact I had with them

I think I need to write them another mail, maybe I can cancel the order and get some money back. Thanks for letting me know....
Edit: funny thing is that their online shows them to be in stock...

Nice!
Here's an example of the kind of linear fm response that you can enjoy once you've built it
