I play keyboard on a podcast and this keyboard has been my favorite for it. It fits with the humorous tone of the podcast, I paid $15 for it, and it weighs like three pounds. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a sustain pedal input, so for some of the recordings I've had to lug my next lightest keyboard over, which is a Virus TI that weighs like 85 lbs in its road case.
So now that I've explained why I want to modify this hunk of garbage, do any of you guys and girls know how I might be able to add support for sustain? I've seen full MIDI add-on kits for similar keyboards, so I know it's possible to some extent, but I don't want to have to use outboard gear or a computer, because it would just get in the way for what I'm doing. I'm thinking maybe a circuit on a daughter board or something might work? Any ideas as to what?

Re: Yamaha PSR6 sustain mod?
OK, no takers. Anyone have a service manual file for the PSR-6? I can't find any online and all of the sale listings for them are old and sold.
