Mutable Instruments - DIY Component Identification L1

Post by mark.linton » Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:39 am

I am attempting to order parts for some mutable instruments DIY modules, and I'm not sure what these parts would be:

They are labeled as L2, L3 etc, and appear to be a 0603 SMD voltage regulator of some type. In the schematic they don't have a value indicated, but does mention wuerth-elektronic.

Anyone suggest what type of component this is, or what component can be safely used in this spot?

Thanks!

The part should be listed in the .xlsx BOM file.
But it looks like it's also in the image: Würth 742792664 = 0603 ferrite

I was just looking at these last night. I can't recall which (and I'm building the smaller clones) but some list 74279266 (200ma max dc current) but I'm pretty sure that 742792664 (300ma) is just fine. And I found I'd stocked up on the latter because I ran into the same issue many months ago.

Yeah I should have mentioned it is mutable instruments grids and plaits.

Oh great thanks - do any of these parts look like suitable replacements?

Trying to find something in stock at JLC.

Thanks.
