I have parts lying around... but I don't know if I count as enough of a DIY'er to really have them all or know how to put them together... will you have easy to follow schematics?
or if that is a headache to illustrate for those like me who haven't yet figured out how to decipher things like [+]-----~~~-----{-}... could I request at least a description of the patch points for the CV controls?
Have been on the fence about wether to keep my MG1 based on whether it would be more fun to integrate into a eurorack system...

anyone have any extra sliders or knobs for an mg 1 by any chance?
sorry, but I am not sure where to really ask that where people with mg 1's might be to see it other than here...
I think only two or three of mine really need replacing and I would like avoid buying a full $100 dollar replacement set, if you would sell me just three!
if you do, pm me...
otherwise... still hoping this kit comes together!

I am interested in this mod as well, if it can happen. Please contact me if it ever gets rolling!
By the way, is there somewhere online that has all these mods for the MG-1 (and maybe some more) documented in one place? I have been trying to cull bits and peices from all over old mailing lests and whatnot, but there is nowhere I can find with a set of mods like the ones proposed here. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places? Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction.

found the VCF external VC connection point. that was easy enough and all over the internet...
but does anyone here know how to make the Tone Source Mod slider only effect one OSC and not the other? It sounds silly the way it is, and I think it would be far more interesting if it only modulated one... or at least to have a switch to make it either/or.... but I don't know where to cut the track or what to solder a wire to...
anyone know?

Is this still gonna happen?

I just picked up an MG-1 and started searching online for mods. I ran across this thread. This kit, if/when available, sounds awesome! I just joined, but if you don't mind this n00b giving my 2 cents, I'm definitely interested in this.
Also, is it possible to add a switch that would disable keyboard control of osc 2? This was an odd quirk on the Polivoks I used to have, and would be great on the MG-1.

I'm sorry to bump such a drastically old thread but I mirror some of the voices that are on here and would really like the info on some of the mods if the kits aren't going ahead.
Further to the post about the synthwoods pro one case above, if I'm not wrong a mod and pitch wheel would be theoretically possible on the MG-1 by splitting off from the modulation slider and pitch output... Right?
Again, sorry for my first post to be resurrecting a four year old thread.

Still interested in hearing about mods as well; I've done the basic stuff that's documented around the web but would love to do more.
And for anyone who wanted walnut end panels, Technician Larry was still making them as recently as last summer, and will even drill holes for mod switches if you request them.
