Interested to hear if how different the sound will be with "higher fidelity." Was that ever an issue with V1?

Yep, this also caught my attention - the "radical restructuring" of both the internal circuit and new firmware - I'm very pleased with mine, no issues at all, but am anxious to hear this new version.

Woe! This will certainly substitute by original Particle!

For some reason, can't get to their site to check on the release date - has anyone got it?

I am pleased with my two and refuse to listen to improvements. :ripbanana:

Nice pedal. Only quibbles are the setting of the tap division and the expression pedal implementation Is not intuitive and requires reading the quick notes. Prefer setting on the fly where it’s just heel down set knobs then toe down set knobs. Sounds very different to my ears from version 1 - keeping both for now - but still love the Panda and everything she poops into the world
Beatniks and Bongos/Bagels and Bongos/Buchlas and Bongos...

I finally got one. I'm kind of glad it's got the MIDI implementation to be honest -- chop and freeze threshold on the same knob doesn't make a lot of sense to me, and under MIDI control it's easier to simultaneously dial in density, reverse, pitch randomization etc. all together. I've got it set up in Bitwig and am practically using it like a plugin. Having the density track an envelope follower is pretty fantastic... :sb:

Love the sound overall. I have mine patched in mono right now, in front of Tensor, but I might have to rethink my Euro <--> pedals interface and take advantage of stereo.

i have the v1 and have been reluctant to buy v2.

is it possible to sync it to MIDI clock?
i looked through the manual and didn't see anything specific.

have you tried that?

I don't think it has MIDI sync. I found a rumor about it a year ago being included in "the next" firmware update but it seems that hasn't happened.

You can send tap tempo via a spefic MIDI CC crossing a threshold, which seems a bit awkward to automate but not impossible.

Is it possible to use it as a mono to stereo converter? I would love to place it in front of my Strymon-DIG/Empress Reverb Combo. Than I could use my pedals easily in mono (Moog Sub37) or stereo (modular) (the switching of the DIG Input is annoying). So is the Partivle V2 an only mono or stereo solution or can I have mono in and stereo out?

Thank you in advance

It processes the left and right channels separately but identically. I had been hoping the randomized parameters (like grain density) were independent on left and right, but they're not. So it won't really do mono-to-stereo.
