What do you use the Ring Stinger for? (Does the Octave stomp on the right get much love? It is a very, very nice octave effect...)

small live board, I tend to switch around this setup quite a bit but always in connection with my modular rig, no guitar live (yet ;) )
So, this would be your rig for modular, not for guitar? Right?

Really wonder how this would sound for guitar - seems quite up there, a very unique set.

yeah it's a classic Ringmodulator with a lot of nice features, for a while I used the optical input jack but mostly I voltage control it from the modular and sometimes use the VCO out for other duties, one of my favourite pedals for sure!

yeah I use this rig for my modular, my guitar playing is not there yet ;) but a lot of these pedals I do use on guitar.

Here's my fine fretted friends in the studio:

Ibanez RG2228 8-string with Dimarzio D-Activators
Clapped-out Martin "Stinger" with cheap eBay PAF bridge and lipstick neck pups
Pitbull DM-1S kit guitar with Tonerider Hot 90 (my most played axe)
Ibanez SR505 bass with D'Addario ProSteels (for clanky metal bass)
Old "Cimar" (Ibanez) classical guitar
Epiphone Viola bass with LaBella flatwounds

Before I scrolled down to your comments, that was my choice for the one I'd most want to pick up. 8-) Nice collection.

Thanks! Yes, the Pitbull lives on its own little stand ready to go at a moment's notice, I often end up using it on tracks even when it's not the most sonically appropriate just because it's so damn fun to play.

The Hot 90 pickup is just a total rock machine, very compressed in a really good way. I'm not actually a big fan of hot pickups normally, but on a raunchy P90 it really works.

Pics of my Guitar / Bass / Amp / Pedal setup? Gosh! It wouldn't fit on the page. Or if it did, it'd be like a pointillist painting.

Recent project: a rusty and clapped-out "Morris" LP clone, one of those classic 70s Japanese guitars with the weird almost semi-hollow construction and "fauxbucker" pickups that leave out one of the coils to save money.

I refretted it with stainless steel frets, cleaned it all up and fitted the IronGear Rolling Mill / Alchemist 90 set so that I'd have at least one guitar that wasn't just a high-output metal monster. Plays and sounds exactly like it should, a crunch-channel noodle machine.

Spend the first half of 2019 to assemble this board for a combination of mono and stereo inputs. There's a also a chunk of Eurorack for mixing different dirt layers that keep the dry stereo input alive + plus some extra noise / ring mod to top it off (the pink cables).

There's only ever one string going through this thing:
