Wow, looks great. And description sounds great, too.
Have you already figured out if/when a run of those could be done?

Thanks! We're working right now to make more panels. I'll do a small run of assembled module as seen with Rob.

Beautiful module! Just arrived. There will be videos as I begin to grok it inside the Buchla paradigm.

Here's Rob & Don in the same boat . . . Uncertainty Central!!

Stay tuned . . .

vgermuse ooooooh that looks like the perfect place to put a benjolin :)

definitely eager to see how this implementation turns out—i have a serge and eurorack format benjolin (ugh, i have a problem) and part of what i love is aided by using a single type of jack: it helps to really blur the line between what is CV and what is sound. but there are a lot of nice things about this design too—really love seeing the pre-DAC rungler bits broken out, for instance. no doubt this will have its own awesome set of possibilities!

Hi Friends,

Here's my first test. Probably intolerably tame for all Benjolin and Blippoo officianatos, but fear not! Chaos will out, stay tuned

Thanks for the kind words Dustin! And, yes, I couldn't agree more -- this module unlocks and points towards whole new sonic universes.

Awesome videos Todd! thank you so much for your support, I'm really glad you like this adaptation. Demo-ing this module is not an easy task as it's pretty open to patch with any modules. With the 266 it is a great combo, generating rhythms patterns, triggering 281 or/292, remote memory of a 245, filtering other sound source, feeding with external pulses, freezing the sequence and going a step further with the push button...
Above all, I think it keeps this intuitive way of making sound.

It'd be cool if you could release a Serge-compatible version when you're finished with this Buchla rubbish. :hihi:
If at first you don't succeed read the instruction manual.

my experience so far is :sb:

build quality is amazing. functions exactly like i want my benjo to, with a few bonus features. sounds just like previous benjo's ive had (macumbista and epoch eurorack.) i also had the option of "loud or soft" filter resonance. i chose "soft" as i felt this sounded like the traditional benjo. the "loud" option was tempting...

i will post some vidoes soon! let me know if there is anything specific youd like me to film and ill do my best.

Is it possible to get a Serge style adaptation from this Buchla pcb? I think the addition of clock in is something i want to try! Cool to have a wilder tabletop benjolin with no sync, but in a modular set up?

Is the Clock IN a possible mod that can be added to older Bejolin boards?

A Serge panel is something to draw and there's some adaptations to make for input voltages. I can try to imagine a layout. Could be cool!

Of course you have to cut vco2 to pin10 of the CD4021 and replace it with a pulse that reach at least 2v.
