292e noise problem

Post by Nejrup » Fri Oct 25, 2019 9:34 am

Hi, hope someone can point me in a direction here.
My 292e started to get problems on the C channel only. When gate is opened, a low frequency noise occurs. It happens both when C channel pot is turned and when the gate is opened by CV. It sounds like a clicking low frequency noise, when you turn the pot.
I've tried to measure the surrounding caps of the channel, but can't seem to find any failures.
Anyone have had a similar problem, who knows where to look?

Thanks!

UPDATE:
Fixed this some time ago & just wanted to put it here, if anyone else should have similar problems..
The culprit was a bad inexpensive LF353 op-amp on channel c, which I simply replaced. The 292e is working perfectly again!
