Skylab style boat cheeks

Post by zzelig » Wed Feb 26, 2020 2:25 pm

Sorry if this has been addressed before: Does anyone know of a source for foldable Skylab style boat cheeks for a 12U system (2 6U boats)? Thanks...

Will be working on something similar - just don't want to do pure knock-offs

Thats too bad. I have 2x6u boats I’m trying to decide how to put them together. A space lab type of thing would be pretty cool

I've had good luck ordering case parts from Buchla in the past. You might try reaching out to see if they have a spare set of Skylab cheeks they'd sell you.

I had admired that Skylab case for so long once I had it in hand I was kind of amazed at how flimsy it feels.

Fully agree. Had a Skylab here for testing purposes and would never buy it for the price. Feels really flimsy.
