New one from me.
Reality Engine, available on CD and download on bandcamp through the DiN label.

Downtempo electronica with quite an eclectic mix of styles. Has a sort of filmic quality. Experimental in places but quite accessible with a good amount of melodic content. Some interesting sound design - analogue physical modeling anyone?

Synths used -
Alesis Andromeda
Minimoog
Moog sub37
Vermona Perfourmer
Macbeth M5n
Korg monologue
Korg Volca bass
Various eurorack

Some bits of processed guitar blended in with the synths from time to time.
Les Paul
B and G Little Sister
amps
Fender and Laney

Various hardware FX

Bandcamp link, you can hear it here.

Support the artists, keep the music flowing and add to your good Karma points! db

It's been out for a little while now, but I wanted to share my debut full length. It's very guitar oriented, but does have a synth track interlude (using an old Erebus v3). Let me know what you think of it! Happy to share some download codes. It's also available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, etc

Hi all!
Happy to share my last release: Resistenza

Resistance: the ability not to be affected by something, especially adversely; the refusal to accept or comply with something; the impeding or stopping effect exerted by one material thing on another.

In Italy, April 25th 2020 was the 75th anniversary of the liberation from nazi-fascism. This year we celebrated this day in silence, in a composed and sad way. A celebration spent staying at home: resisting again!
Today, in fact, we are called to resist due to the danger related to covid19. This new form of silent and domestic resistance has inspired Resistenza my first work intentionally ambient on the notes of the popular song Bella ciao.

This track was made mixing together field recordings made on April 25th and sounds created using a Micro Korg.

My longtime bird loving project “Oiseaux électroniques en Suède” (“Electronic Birds In Sweden”) is finally out on Gothenburg based label GEIGER Grammofon. Really proud of this one. Created on Eurorack and Buchla Music Easel. Gatefold-lp/cd/dl. Oil paintings by Antonio Sognasoldi. Kind of narrative music, 13 stories about the possible daily life and routines of electronic birds. Hope you like it!

Available on Bandcamp.

Here's a recent release I recorded with my brother
Heavy use of modular, though not in the bleepy bloopy kind of way.

More sleep inducing stuff from me:-

Sounds recorded from my modular system into REAPER with far too much reverb, delay and especially Adaptiverb.

A kind of drone + sequencer thing.

New album release. Drone/dark ambientish/spooky/etc. with a little Berlin School influence.

100% of proceeds will be divided between Reclaim the Block and Afrorack. I will match all donations from sales today, and it's #bandcampfriday so they won't be taking their usual fees.

Patch notes for the album are here.

Hi guys! I just released my latest EP called "New Old Stock" I named it after the practice of re-releasing discontinued chips that is so popular right now seeing the resurgence of vintage gear.

It's a narrative series of soundscapes, I wanted to represent a couple of experiences that I personally had in the past with being an avid consumer of gear.

In the first track, I explored the soundscapes of overseas manufacturing, shipping and the hype-cycle that defines the social media discourse behind a new gear release — the track trails with the inevitable purchase and unboxing of said product. I know many of us have done the same thing I did and purchased a piece of gear immediately after release without genuinely thinking about whether we really need or even want it.

In the second track, I re-constructed the sounds that define the whole process of installing and patching-up a new piece of equipment in your studio. At first, you excitedly install the latest firmware, screw the thing into your rack, and you start patching. You use it for hours on end, but slowly your excitement starts to dwindle, maybe the interface is not as intuitive as I want it to be, perhaps this piece of gear is not what I really needed for my live performance setup, or maybe I'm just distracted by the next shiny new thing that is going to be in stock at Schneidersladen next week.

In the last track, I switch to the internal perspective of the piece of gear (with a tiny nod to object-oriented ontology because I'm a fucking nerd). As I remove the piece fo gear from the rack and send it to the landfill to be forgotten, I break the emotional connection that I established with the piece of equipment. Even though it's now out of my sight, it continues to exist and slowly decays in form and contributes to the pile of tech-waste I gifted to the planet within my lifetime.

Hope you guys enjoy it!
