Got my synth wardrobe tidied up and will explore the Marienberg Devices Filter some more. Planning to film another, deeper demo video later.

I tried to patch as much as possible for a track within my 4x13width modular.

managed to get dual sequence, phased pad, drum, percussion and drone out of it, Now I need to record it for posterity, but once I leave stuff, I always have real trouble getting enthusiasm for it back.

on a good side, I have the cables and the software to do videos from my phone, so hopefully shall be posting stuff this week.

Hi DaviT,

Enajst is just lovely; I can totally loose myself in it.

+1. Getting a strong Mike Oldfield vibe from it.

Doing some rearranging and cleanup, spending a ton more time reading old threads in this forum. Thankfully quite an easier task than catching up on euro. Ordered my first bit of 5u (dotcom portable 11) last week so I’m... antsy?

Anyway, new to the format, wanted to say hi, but didn’t want to start my own thread on it. Hi!

Hi teyar and welcome to 5U.

This weekend I am going to trouble shoot some problem modules I built. Little things that aren’t working as expected. And maybe, if time and family permits, I’ll re-start doing exercises from Allen Strange.

I finally got around to unboxing a cedar MOTM cabinet purchased from eatyourguitar (last year? maybe!).
Not sure yet what will go into it. Probably a Klee and some filters and a psu, plus whatever is still lying around unmounted
:hihi:

Get some power to my new Dotcom modules... a Q107 filter (finally, a proper multimode filter!), a Q125 signal processor, and a Q155 Curver. Then... start experimenting!

Install this badboy that Jason so kindly helped my design and then put together. He does such good work!

Stepping up to stereo! :yay:

Tracking my COTK package in transit from Portugal.

The process has been painless, with good communication from Kazike, but all slowed down due to some funny virus thingy going around. Who'd have guessed? :despair:

Awesome for the CoTK. I just placed an order with Kazike - but am unsure where I stand in the Q.

May I ask what modules you chose from Cult of the Knobs?

Just a C961S gate sequencer, with red LEDs and the dotcom power adapter.

Great module. I'll post my adventures when I receive a set.

Otherwise, it making music this weekend up here in Asheville, NC. And surprisingly Moog was open yesterday for walk-ins. Nice. I doubt Make Noise, however.

COTK gate sequencer is a great module. I had to spring for Moog lamps, but thats only because it was next to a Q960 and it had to match.

waiting for modules to arrive is the worst, I can only imagine how hard it is, that all the mail has slowed down due to Covid-19.

Saturday and Sunday. The days at the end of the week.

Thank you! :)

It's great to BE around. I've been doing a little posting over the previous few days just as a sort of "proof of life". I see I still have the talent for driving some folks absolutely bananas. That's encouraging. Hahahah! :tu:

I did re-injure that rib thing about a week ago, which set me back a few weeks. But it's actually healing up pretty well now, main thing is to remember to not get too active. If I ~pop~ it out of place again, it may mean eight weeks of setback while it heals. Sooooo .... I've been doing very light prep to get back at the synth project. Holding back from jumping in has been a bitch, but I just keep reminding myself HOW MUCH IT FEKKIN HURTS FOR A WEEK when it pops out of place. That pretty much puts me right in line again and I'm a good boy after that.

So until then I'll probably just be wise-guying it up around here. Once I'm back on the bench I won't have time to annoy everyone.
