how does this compare to the COTK ratchet module? i was considering one of those but it seems like its nearly impossible to make an order with them.

Looks great! Is that top part a knob? A capacitive knob?

Knob, yes. Capacitive, no. Just thought it looked cool with the layout.TimeRaveler wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 3:59 pmLooks great! Is that top part a knob? A capacitive knob?

Gotcha, but it clicks like a button? Also what's the difference between trigger and ping?dslocum wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 4:30 pmKnob, yes. Capacitive, no. Re: SSL - Name The Module - Burst (Nurse Ratchet it is!)
Quantity is a stepped encoder with a push button.
Ping sets the "base" tempo (like tap tempo), and Trigger starts the burst / ratchet at that tempo (or multiple or division depending on the position of the Time knob + Time CV)
Check out the Befaco Burst manual here (I'll do my own at some point, but just too busy right now - besides, the two are pretty much identical except for the format):
