Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around. Browser incompatibilities kept me from staying logged in and I just stopped checking.

Knobcon was amazing, stressful, miserable, and joyous. afterwards, i had a computer failure and some other crap and i'm recovering. and now i'm on System 10.9.5 (was 10.6.8) i can stay logged into the best synthesiser forum on the internet again!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just sent a very healthy check to WMD to keep this on track and while it is not ready yet, it is definitely much closer. There were some hardware and firmware revs that needed to be done, new prototype soon, after that's verified it can go into production.

confidence level: ordering panels Monday.

i've had the second revision of the Boat Rocker PSU running with like twice as many modules as it needs to be able to run going for about a week now. it's not Moog format but i'm including it anyway, just as an update if you don't follow my Instagram account (not offended if you don't, social media sucks)

I've been kind of wondering that myself. I looked back at the Newsletter that STG sent out in November and it states a projected date of release in Q2 2020. So with that it might not be too much longer, except that might be impacted with the issue of getting components out of China right now.

Just checked the STG site and the .VCO page said ship date of May 2020. Last time I checked was early March, I think.

I emailed STG last week just asking if there was an ETA update but didn't get a response. Maybe someone else could try an send a prompt too.

Follow STG on Instagram, as I am pretty sure he'll mention it when these start leaving the nest...

Yeah please let us know if you hear anything. It's coming up on about 5 weeks from the last post stating that STG said it should be about 5 weeks. It isn't that I "need" my new Oscillators (I ordered 2), but seeing the blank spots where they will go in my case gives me urges to order other modules to fill them.

Yep - got tired of waiting, so went SSL - he found a lost unit and I got the last two I think. The STG sounds REAL good, but I needed to move on w/ my 5U. Still need another STG Mixer though.

Yes the S1200 is a very stable vco. The only feature I would prefer is an octave control but otherwise it is a great single space VCO.

Back to the topic... I hope to see the STG VCO soon as well. I have a few in 5U as well as 3U on order. The modulation aspects of this oscillator are what have me excited enough to plop down the scratch for many of them way ahead of the release. Mr Tie Guy has always delivered the goods and I am confident this will be no exception.

I'll second kindredlost - Suit will deliver the product for sure. I have a bank of 4 on order in 3u.

I try to not set any firm expectations as to when an STG preorder product will be shipped. The wait time for preorder to production for the envelope generator was also long - longer than this, so I ain't trippin. I knew that going in.

Hopefully folks look at previous module releases to get an idea of what to expect with the timelines, and just plan accordingly - where I'm from in eurorack-world, there's plenty of modules to hang out with while I wait.

Let us know how they sound. I'd prefer those to Moslab or ... COTK.
