Great idea ! Many things have changed in 10 years and this can be a great place for new people to get updated info.

On thing that I would suggest is to really differentiate between MU manufacturers and MOTM. This is a topic that get many newcomers confused. Also I would only list active manufacturers to avoid people looking to buy modules that are not available.

A list of "non active" manufacturers can be made as a reference.

Lower West Side Studio produces modules by designers including;

- Barton Musical Circuits
- Cat Girl Synthesizers
- FCUK
- Hexinverter
- Moogah
- Music From Outer Space
- Oakley Modular Systems
- Serge
- YuSynth

Lower West Side Studio is also the only manufacturer offering discounts for multiple product purchases. We appreciate our customers and provide them with discounted prices whenever they return.

We are also the only manufacturer who bills in Canadian Dollars. Check the exchange rates and chances are your money is stronger than ours. Use your strength to save money!

Finally.... There is ALWAYS A SALE at Lower West Side Studio. Purchase 4 or more items at a time and receive a 10% discount on your order. That's ON TOP of any sale price or discount coupon you may have. We appreciate your business and want you to know it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've made a brief start to the list in the first post having taken them on board.

Anyone reading - please feel free to post relevant details of manufacturers I can add to the top post. I'm really not up to date with 5U manufacturers these days and am relying on help from everyone to populate the list and keep it relevant.

A few weeks ago I saw a thread about Electro-Smith with an MU VCO and an MU LPF, both say assembled or DYI. I know nothing about them, but they are on the website: https://www.electro-smith.com/modular. It seems that I have seen other's pop up like that as well, but this is the only one I can find on the first page of the forum.

They're added now - thank you.

What's the deal with Synthesis Technology these days? I see Paul no longer sells MOTM modules but they're available from e.g. Synthcube? I'm guessing that's for legacy modules only and there's no new ones coming from Paul?
If that is the case then I'd probably put him in the non-active category with a note to that effect.

Yes, he's quit doing anything with 5U, and sold the rights for reselling the 5U stuff first to Bridechamber, and now to synthcube.

Not MU width, not DotCom/MOTM connector, also additional 3.3V.

Perhaps there should be a "proprietary/incompatible" option on top of MU/MOTM if the intention is to provide a non-confusing list to "newbies." Although, ironically, Moog (with S-Trig and [/b]6V) would fit into that category... 8-)

Some newcomers:

Dove Audio - http://dove-audio.com/ (MU)
Laurentide Synthworks - https://www.laurentidesynthworks.net/ (MU)
Conjured Circuits - http://www.conjuredcircuits.com/ (MU)
