I have one and it is really flexible between the CH, OH and metal. Throw in the RM and noise basis of the synthesis and you have alot of really different timbres to choose from. I am waiting on the DR-02 to round out my 5u Drum section. (DR-01, DR-02, SSL Thundrum, DR-03)
I have that set as well. Faves are the Kick (DR-01) and DR-03. I like the Thundrum, sometimes I find it tricky to dial in what I want with it, but when its right, its really right.
For additional percussion options, check out the Noise Engineering Basimilus Iteritas

I have been thinking of picking one of each (Dr-01,02 and 03) up myself. Like some have voiced that taking up valuable MU space for drum modules isn't the most advantageous I do agree though. My thoughts is to just setup a small cabinet just to house these three.
I've been messing with setting up some little percussion/drum sounds on my MU system but that takes away from some of my VCO's that I could use for the melody. If I need more in drums I have many other gear to use.

I just mounted it up in my P-cabinet... You changed panel aesthetics? I love it! The glossy old C102 is not like this etched sexiness... Bonus. Of course it sounds superb and influenced much inspiration. Hail Thalassa!

I've changed to etched front panels long time ago, the last silk screened front panels were the original C103.
