Ah wasn't sure! I don't know why I thought the phaser or shifter was maybe out of production.
You might have been thinking of the Phaser Filter.
Or the VCA Shaper, old version of the Shaper

The long wait is finally coming to end. The two systems we ordered on February 28th, 2019 are ready to ship. This is a nice shot of them getting burned in his studio:

Anyone have any tips as to how I would interface my 4u serge banana jacks with the Hordijk? some of the node processor/matrix plugs that came with my unit (and I believe I have read somewhere upthread here a long way back) seem to accept banana jacks, but the tips appear to be TRS rather than TS. So, I'm assuming I would still need some sort of grounding connection? Anyone had any success in this realm?

Running the Serge and Hordijk final audio outs into the same mixer or interface should take care of it.

Hi Guys,

Here is a small tip, I just found yesterday. Maybe it was already mentioned in the thread, I don't know. You can beef up the timbre of the osc hrm by plugging the full out to the hrm mod input of the oscillator. Then play with hrm mod knob, all hrm and odd hrm knobs.

Cheers

It has -- but useful information should be kept alive. :tu: Try running the feedback signal through a bi-polar VCA, then go to town on the VCA control input...

First couple of hours with the system last night. Head spinning - it's going to take a long, long time.

One practical question - I looked around to find out where Hordijk gets his patch cables but couldn't figure it out. Does anybody know?

I think they're from thomann, from a range called sssnake. Like these ones, but you might need to double check details on length, mono/stereo etc. https://www.thomann.de/gb/the_sssnake_s ... gLFlfD_BwE

Congratulations on the new system! I'm not 100% sure, but I think the cables Rob provides are the sssnake patch cables available at Thomann Music here: http://www.thomannmusic.com/the_sssnake ... ceba32fddc

I've tried a ton of different ones and the cables provided by Rob have always been my favorite...

If anyone's interested, will be posting Hordijk stuff to our instagram - https://www.instagram.com/sandshairy/

We have a few nice modular things in our studio - bunch of Euro, R*S Serge XL boat, Buchla easel, Korg 2600FS. Each has its place, but so far the Hordijk is resonanting the strongest with me personally. It kind of combines all the essential elements I love from from other systems and then brings the unique Hordijk sound, flair, and to my surprise *ease of use*. The voice panels being tuned to C (w/ manual tuning disabled) and all the normalizations means you can get to work without distraction.

snake cables are the same as the cheapest black chinese cables... with a fancy name.. if you look about you can usually get them even cheaper..

Does anyone know what the current price for a standard 4 panel system is, including shipping and import fees, deliver to the usa?

Also, what's the current wait time?

Thanks!

very rough/ballpark numbers - $5,000 and 2 years.
Best answer if planning is to contact Rob directly to get real info since this COVID thing has thrown a wrench into many plans and timelines.

Price is closer to $6000 after shipping and import at this point. 2 year wait time sounds about right.
