And, when you've done that, at the same time, take output 2 to a multi, return output 2 from there to input 2 and take your audio out from the multi.

I tried various fancy feedback ideas using a matrix mixer and the PB ins/outs but the simplest way gave the best results.

thats a fatherfucker of a tune! .. i love the dying battery sound you get at the fadeout of the bass notes. im wondering what would happen if you run the pb on 8.0 volts? i just got a PB, its more *tubeish* than those whimpy low voltage tube modules. totally unpredictable ... i hope f(h) comes up with more like this. i also totally support his anticapitalistic low price policy. im already signed up for the imp. hell, i would give him a loan if we get more medievil modules then.

Broken plague bearer 3.2

Post by symplx » Sat Apr 29, 2017 6:46 pm

I just found an unfinished plague bearer 3.2. Some parts are missing. Can someone point me to the parts list or build instructions for version 3.2? Thankx

Unfinished? Is it a Barebones Pack? Post a picture and we'll go from there.

Replied via email but, for those who later wish to know:

Those parts aren't missing, they were intentionally left off. They were in the r3.1 but affected the sound too much, so they were left off with the pads available if anyone wanted the features later. Nobody did. The broken pot is a standard 16mm 100k audio taper. The holes match the common Alpha pots that most sites and stores carry.

Plague Bearer 1U mod

Post by symplx » Sat May 20, 2017 7:52 pm

I replaced the crusty pots with the smaller kind making it possible for it to fit into an Intelijel 1U slot. I made a new face plate and added the jacks that were missing. Not bad. I'll give myself 4 out of 5 stars.Image

Are there any plans to manufacture another run of Plague Bearers in 2018?
Looking for a complete module. If they are no longer in production then let me know and I can move on with my search, thanks!

Yup! Just finished, actually. We just did a small, final, run of the "Hiatus version" Plague Bearer rev 4.2 – the ones last sold by Foxtone Music – and are just now selling them. This is a closeout sale, down to $120 from $159, and very limited in supply (less than 20). I'll put up a full announcement tomorrow, to give first dibs to those on the waiting list - which includes you, technically.

I read this morning and I almost started to cry...
Thank you so much for making another run of your PB modules.
They have been unobtanium and honestly thought I’d never get one.
I’ve already emailed Foxtone, thank you so much! :bananaguitar:

They're not at Foxtone, I have them here. Email me.

The story: When things went sideways at f(h) back in 2012-13, all designs were licensed to Foxtone, who took over production. Last year, Eric and I negotiated reverting the assets back to me, which included boxes of parts and partially-built modules. I'm currently working on building and clearing out this backstock. Since these are all low volume, they are all being sold directly from me, not through any retailers yet.

its a spam bot called "the ASCII plague bearer" ... random text riddled with virus bearing links.

so why has flight of harmony closed down? its a damn shame because i loved their philosophy. its sort of the opposite of contemporary eurorack nerdism: low cost, lowfi, highly complex interior. female sensitivity vs. male consumerism!

am i making any sense?

Here’s a cool old one. My dual plague bearer. It’s two under one 16hp panel, not two 8hp ones side by side. Not a great picture but oh well.

You might have missed the hyper spammer, 58 spam posts across the forum, as many as 3 in a single thread, since this morning before a mod could kill the account. Almost 800 words and contained at least 5 virus laden links.  Mentioned in this thread:
