Got the mailing list notice this morning about these being back in stock. Was super-excited and went to buy one but already sold out 4 hours later. I'm on the west coast of the US, so I guess I missed the boat, again. Hopefully there will be more.

By chance, I happened to wake up right when the email was sent out, so I was able to grab one somehow, really looking forward to it!

Fellow west coaster here. I know the heartache of sleeping in, or through, a Bugbrand email. If you’re patient, you’ll get one, though. Took me a few times to secure a synth voice, and twice to get a DRM2, but as us eager beavers get ours with each mail out, the pool empties out a bit and products seem to stay in the store a bit longer. Or, the stars align and Tom is up wicked late/early and we get the rare advantage. It happens ;)

Thumbs up!

Yeah, I can never quite win with timing of mailouts - there's no particular rhyme or reason to exactly what time I do them.

I've still got a stack of DRM2 boards so will presume to do another batch within the next month or so.

Has anyone made any DRM2 videos/recordings/demos recently that I can jam to tide me over till mine arrives? :hyper:

OOOF looks good with the red RCD next door. Mine died with the magic smoke just before I left for the states :waah: might build another over 2 panels so it's a bit more sturdy and less of a kludge behind the panel - very useful with the drm's, radio music, tresses, ddsr and envelopes etc. Maybe if I put it off long enough there'll be a similar bug module in the works :help:
Excited to hear some sounds from your usage of the drm2!

Shame your RCD died!! I'll post some sounds with my DRM2 in the next couple of weeks once I've broken the back of some new tracks I'm working on.

just got my DRM2 in the mail yesterday! Didn't have time to sit down and play with it yet (ahh!), but here is a shot of it along with it's two younger siblings...
Might not need two DRM1's any longer now that I have this guy... :goo:

Just imagining the sheer FORCE these 3 boxes could release with a simple sequencer. :deadbanana:

And Jas is just building the DRM1Xs that I mentioned a year ago.

I personally keep a frame with 1 x DRM2 and 1 x DRM1+X in the studio.

That's because that combo is pure FIRE.

Still lamenting the loss of the DRM2 but had to pay a stupid bill at the time. Plus I'm still very much trying to stick to blues, but the reds are so enticing and beautifully complete.

Oh the expander is a really nice addition, opening up for loads of fun!
Like Tom, I also have a DRM1X and a DRM2 together in a 11FW frame. I also added a Scrotum Lab Radio Music to pair with the two. Great rhythmic frame (of course capable of other fun stuff too 8-) )

DRM2 arrived stateside. What a lovely creation Bugman! Without even patching the box, there is a huge arsenal of sonic treats. Both ends of the spectrum are both weighty and bright. Candy for the ears all around. Thx!!

DRM2 or DRM1X run?
Lots of people stopped getting mailouts due to GDPR last year - could be that we just need to update your settings, so do ping me an email.

Really loving how versatile the DRM2 is. I started exploring it as a mono synth and it easily gets into that woody acid territory that I love about the TB-303.

Would love to see some more DRM2 vid's to check out how people are using theirs.

DRM2 is the main source, it's the only thing playing for the first 18 seconds before I unmute the chopping, melodic thing. the same ENV is modulating the melodic line and triggering the DRM2. pre-recorded loops turn into pitched feedback "blocks" with octatrack's freeze delay.
