Bugbrand - Krell
Decided to try and implement Todd Barton's Krell patch with my Bug system.
The patching environment is similar, (dual cycling envelope generators influencing timing and dynamics). Instead of working with a more traditional sample/hold configuration I used one “channel” of the DDSR to create pitch information and modulation throughout the patch. White noise (DRM2) was used to create random data at the data input of the DDSR. The patch uses two voices, the standard FM'd VCO - LPG as well as the Orgone Accumulator at a higher register to provide extra aliasing and percussive sounds. The PT Delay was used for reverb/room simulation.
