Re: Hey, US DIYers: I Need BB Module Power Wiring, ASAP!
?syncretism wrote:Heya,
I have a busted four-pin cable that doesn’t power modules; this means I’m down a module in my small BugBrand rig while I’m traveling with it.
I’d really like to record the entire rig while I’m traveling for the holiday, so I’m hoping against hope that one of y’all might be able to put one together and send it out expedited to me where I’m staying - by the weekend, if possible. I’ll pay a premium for your time and inconvenience!
I’ve had to sacrifice a Compact VCO to get a different module working, so I’d be awfully grateful for the assistance, friends.
It looks like you did not get my email?
I'm sending it to you tomorrow then.
EDIT:
Okay. I guess it will not arrive by the weekend. There's no express thing here :(
I should have send it to you when it happened, instead of waiting as I was not hearing back from you.
I am very sorry.

Busted as in it's now in pieces? They're pretty easy to fix, you just need something like a small flathead screwdriver to shove the wires back in against the MTA connector.

Old info here:

There's now a 2nd 0V wire - black - which is joined to the green one.
So if the cable is busted it must either be on the V+ (red) or V- (blue)

I find yours never break, I find the ones I make myself sometimes need to be shoved back inBugBrand wrote:That's interesting - I've found the MTA connectors extremely reliable.
Still, sounds like it was an easy solve - so, good.
