Hey all, trying to connect my opZ using the oplab into my bug system using toms adapter cables....
My issue is I am getting a high pitched whine out of the opz with the ground jack connected to the bug frame...Im actually connecting the opz audio into the racked drm2. So im wondering if there a need to connect the ground jack at all as the opz is battery powered

Have you tried with just audio (not using the oplab), if yes, still noisy?
Also have you tried to use a splitter on the opz audio out? Sending one of the mono outs from the splitter to the DRM?

Yes once the ground jack is removed the noise is gone.

Hmm... that’s strange. Well I don’t own a OP-Z, so can’t compare. But I guess sending CV from the OPLab will work as long as they share common ground when you plug audio out from OP-Z to DRM2 audio in, which I think they do. Hope you’ll resolve it!
