wait is this the lost one/"???
or you found another one because
there is a rumour of a lost drm1 somewhere in a
DHL warehouse
That would be my old one, I sent to it a wiggler here and DHL just lost it back in April this year outside Berlin.
Gutted.

RadioMusic seems like a good fit... other than that, maybe Logic / DC Mix / LeSeq / Osc (Sine)
RadioMusic or Le Seq would be my first choices, but they’re tough to find right now! And for good reason (nobody wants to part with them!!)
I have a blue blank in the 1FW spot of the 11FW case I have with the DRM-1/1X / DRM-2.
undecided.
WANT TO BUY:
Bugbrand - CTL-1, Spring Tanker
Bugbrand/Scrotum Lab - Grille/Grilles, Radio Music, Le Seq/Le Seqx, Tresses

Diode director all the way
+1 !!
I have one of these next to each of my DRM's and can't live without. Easy to DIY too...
Where could one find info on DIY diode director?

The Diode Director is Tom’s name for his module. Do some searching here on diode OR gates. That should get you started.

Breathes a new dimension into the DRM1/2.
Hogpog of bits sourced from eBay; Roland dual zone pads and brackets and unknown stand for under £60.
So much fun
I'm looking for nothing at this moment in time

Awesome
I see very often on the local sale site here this kind of pads or complete drum sets (mostly roland and alesis), very cheap and always think I should try, but the lacking of space in the studio (and the amount of things I have) hold me back.
So it's cool to see this. Hope to see a video soon.

A video would be fun Robert as I’m no drummer

My new MPC has CV outs so I could probably do some mad finger drumming with my DRMs and Radio Music. Or not.

I’ll probably stick to sequencing or randomness for now!

You might have thought, given that i) I play drums, ii) have a set of pads, iii) dreamed on the DRMs in part for use with pads... that I'd actually have played with it all at all.

Maybe now is the time Tom? Give it a go. Both versions respond well to the pads.
