looks interesting. anyone have experience with it? wonder how well it would work with reaktor blocks or silentway.

I've been using one since November to convert MIDI from my Cirklon to triggers for Eurorack drums with no problems. I haven't used it for volt/octave cv so can't comment on how well that works.

I'm sure there is another thread on it here somewhere so do a search for that.

That's cheaper than anything else and does more, plus it doesn't take up room in a case. Wish I had known about this earlier.

I think this thing is really great. I am sending MIDI from my MC-80 to a System-100M with the cv.ocd, allowing control of 2 voices, velocity to cv and midi clocking to triggers for the S&H of the 100M, all permitted by this device.

I asked Jason about 1,2V/osct, here is his reply:

Hi, thanks for your request
I reckon I can do that, I’ll see when I can get to it
Cheers
Jason

Have had one for about a month now and love it. It allows me to use my Novation Circuit as the main controller for my modular. The combination of the CV.OCD and Circuit is a big upgrade from the Beatstep I was using.
Every new row of Eurorack is going to be my last.

I really LOVE the VC.OCD! :) it's great!
One thing I dont understand, I want to create a new config file with this settings but I can not find the "channel note pitch, gate and trigger" on the config page?
http://www.six4pix.uk/cvocd/patch.asp

CVA = channel 1 note pitch
CVB = channel 2 note pitch
CVC = channel 3 note pitch
CVD = channel 4 note pitch

GATE1 = channel 1 note gate
GATE2 = channel 2 note gate
GATE3 = channel 3 note gate
GATE4 = channel 4 note gate

GATE5 = channel 1 note trigger
GATE6 = channel 2 note trigger
GATE7 = channel 3 note trigger
GATE8 = channel 4 note trigger

GATE9 = clock 1
GATE10 = clock 1/2
GATE11 = clock 1/4
GATE12 = clock 1/8t

i honestly never have issues sending euro pulses to buchla. i've tested almost all of my trigger/gate sequencers/sources and they pretty much all work.

I'm interested in one of these, primarily for clocking the modular from my RYTM/OT. I like the multiple clock options.

Is anyone using it as their primary MIDI-CV clocking option?

I just got one on Friday and I'm loving it! I just made this video which demonstrates a custom config I made that outputs three channels from the SoundPrism iOS app to my Eurorack modular. All sounds are from the modular synth. The app is only used as a MIDI controller. Best of all, it frees up 6HP in my cardboard skiff that I'm already planning to fill with the Ardcore expander!

Webpage says it puts out 5v on gates. Is that enough to clock my Grids? Anyone? Thanks!

Just ordered two!

One to create a FOUR VOICE TRIBE
Second to create a real duophonic MS-22 with two MS-20kits!

Hot damn, thanks for bringing attention to this. This is exactly the kind of the thing (as amazing as Yarns is) I do not want to devote space in my small system to.

cvocd is quality. I've had mine for awhile and never had any issues with it. I am on the waiting list for a banana split now :sadbanana:
