@KL1982 Beautiful stuff :tu:
I recently sold my Lyra-8, and the Stargazer really appeals as a replacement. Love the astronomy aesthetic and the more more melodic feel.

Thanks Richard :) Great instrument, isn't it.

Lyra/Stargazer are very different, aren't they. If you don't mind me asking, why did you sell the Lyra?

Currently my 'holy trinity' of drones/industrial are:

Lyra-8
Moffenzeef Stargazer
Folktek Mescaline.

There are a few other nice toys out there, of course. But I'd certainly place the Stargazer in the mix as one of the finest drone synths (especially so with the recent firmware update i.e wavetable interpolation).

I did enjoy playing it. And even got OK at twiddling the pitch knobs while looking at a tuning app to hit particular notes. But in the end it was just too dominating, it always seemed to want to take the lead and define the piece. Final nail was when I got the CloudBusting module and preferred the drones out of that instead.

Those three drone units you have are an incredible ensemble of dronish superpower!
