Yesterday I was really hungry for some new drum sounds, and I was just about to go out and get myself a Roland TD-20 module. But then I got a much better idea :) And I didn't even leave my lab:)

Wow ! I tested the new bass enhancer and I really enjoyed it. It sounds really nice ! And now I discover that there is an upcoming perc oscillator !! :)

There are so many things happenning with the LD3 :)

Great to hear, that you are enjoying the bass enhancer. I hope that you will soon enjoy the percussion oscillator too :)

And thanks again for your really nice LD3 review!

I've made an arduino based midi controller for my LD3. With part from e-licktronic (midilickuino, dilicktal and licklogic). And a 16x2 display.
The arduino code is now finished. The face plate (with my 3D printer) too.
I'll add 16 pots soon, the code is ready.
The buttons permit to change the CC for each row of pots. 5 pots used actually which represent 16x5 CC.
2 others buttons and 16 pots each are attributed to a Raspberry Pi 4b. With bipscript, nekobi with a distortion. I'll add another synth plugin soon. Stereo audio output (from a USB Asus Xonar U3) go to the LD3 as 2 mono input. LD3 used as mixer and effects processor.
It's a work in progress. I want to make a small flight case for this small setup. I need to transport it by walking or cycling.
3 connectors for power and main audio output on the side wired internally. No need to connect disconnect anything inside. Plug and Play ;)

Nothing screwed for now ;)

Very impressive diy effort. Look forward to seeing a video of it in action!

Tremendous amount of hands on modulation potential there.

I've been having fun using the sample XFADE mode on LD3.

Just a short video of (Tiny) LD3 creating a pad sound using two samples of my voice doing an oooh ahhh sound and crossfading between the two looping samples. Passes through a VCF8 Spaze and granulating delay. Iphone LOFI audio.

Really like the Tiny LD3 as a portable all in one on the road toss it in a backpack studio solution. So small and easy to use with a battery pack that puts out 9v dc. I wasn't sure how the reduced buttons and knobs would translate but I'm happy to say its easy and fast to navigate.

Its a a shrolca. Fun compact little synth with a nice analog filter. The poly touch keyboard is a perfect lightweight companion for tiny LD3. Just using it for its midi keyboard in the video.

@Rayce : Compelling mood. My favourite Tiny/LD3 video so far.
About filming: Just one piece of friendly [technical] advice :
;)

About portability: Have you ever considered paring it with an Eventide MixingLink for more audio option such as an headphone output.

Thanks Scories!

The Left output of the LD3 can be used as a headphone jack which is what I have been using though I can see advantages to having the mixinglink. A battery powered mic pre/fx loop/minimixer in pedal form factor is pretty cool. Appreciate the suggestion.

I'll never be able to look at vertical vids the same way after watching that PSA ;)

-Long envelope times are now possible.

You can download the update at:
www.gotharman.dk

-To support and encourage for further LD3/Tiny LD updates, please unlock the percussion synthesizer. You can unlock it here:

I just watched the videos that have been posted on this page. There are so nice !

The sample Xfade function works really well for pad and atmosphere.

Im really intrigued by the new Percussion oscillator. I have not tried it myself yet, but it sounds really rich on the video. The combination of the percussion oscillator + sample + compression/distortion/granular FX is really unique.
