I sent the email asking to go on the wait list in July 2018. I never received a number back from them as to where I was on the waiting list but I just received an email saying that it's been dispatched. :hyper: :yay:

Ah yeah, I forgot about the useless bag. I’d rather they left the bag out and sold the Pulsar at a lower price. If you’re only playing at home you don’t need it. If you’re touring it’s far too flimsy. It’s a waste of space for me.

My sense is they got them pretty cheap (on a bulk buy of something that fit) - It helps with the transport of the item. Arrives in the case and covered in saran wrap and then further bubble wrap. As a first step of lining for packing, I think it's functional for getting the Pulsar shipped across the globe in a consistent way. Doubt it adds anything to the cost.

It looks like I got in before the lock.

Send Gregorz an email and ask if they’re still posting from Poland during the lockdown

still super beginning stages of learnings, but i do better with sequencers than clock dividers or live looping, so this is my favorite so far, Metron sending gates and some Voltera CV, all sounds Pulsy -

oof. yeah. everybody STAY STAFE. WASH YOUR HANDS. BE CAREFUL.

That sounds incredible, absolutely booming. The world is in the bin right now but in time, when things get better, I will definitely be purchasing one of these

Some more Pulsar-23.

I recently picked up a Noise Engineering Seca Ruina to dabble a little with multi band processing. The Seca Ruina splits an input into 3 separate bands - Low, Medium, High and then applies a modest distortion to them. You can take each band output and then process them separately, so I did the following:
Low Band - Into a Schlappi Engineering 100 GRIT -> Erica Synths Black Spring Reverb at 0% wet. I then took the feedback out of the Reverb into a separate channel on my audio interface and processed it with a Valhalla DSP Valhalla Delay plugin. The reason I left it at 0% wet was to send it back to my percussion submix without any reverb effect, since I was processing the feedback separately anyway. Mid Band - Ritual Electronics Miasma Distortion -> Happy Nerding FX AID using a Dual Pitch Shifter algorithm. High Band - Make Noise Mimeophone
This was really fun, and let me cut into my sounds with a precision I haven't had before.

Soundcloud if thats more your thing:

Nice stuff on this page - thanks to everyone for sharing.

I've only been able to spend a handful of hours with mine (black unit #68 reporting). Have also been learning how to use the Metron in parallel, so that hampers the learning speed as well. The two of them make a fun pair for sure, though.

Something I love about the Pulsar is just how well it lends itself to parallel processing. I was experimenting with a pitched snare sound today and figured out that I could leave the actual snare hit sound super low and still get the reverb in the mix out... and since the output pin exists before the Volume knob, I was still able to run the snare into another channel of my mixer and stick a Mimeophone send on it. Lots of room to blend all the parts together exactly how you want it before it hits the tape/hard drive/whatever.

This thing is kinda bonkers already and I know I'm barely scratching the surface as is.

Woohoo! Excellent news Bobby! Very happy for you.

I've been using the Pulsar every day now since last week. It's magnificent (even when used just for simple stuff. For instance; I haven't touched non-midi use and the Chaos module yet).

Oh. and @behndy, lovely vids. Especially like the one with rings.
@NoLegs, crazy sounds dude!
