Just got an email from Soma and made the payment! It will take around two weeks to ship plus possible corona related delays... I pre-ordered 11/18. Long weeks of waiting ahead!

In Europe. They said that they are now shipping previously paid orders. So I suppose you are part of them

My Pulsar came in last week! This is my first patch with it:

This thing is absolutely incredible. Can't wait to keep exploring and learning it. Next video will be integrating it with my eurorack.

Anyone found a good table top stand solution for pulsar? Would love to get it up on an angle, and potentially raised up as well. One tier is fine, but if you‘ve found multi tier solutions I’m also interested. Anything that’s been verified to be a sturdy fit. It’s a heavy machine!

I have one of these for my laptop:

It seems like it would work well for Pulsar but I haven’t tried it yet.

A wonderful friend gave me one of those odd three-fold stands (the legs have two separate joints, each with a clickable tension dial) - Regret I don't know the brand or model - Holds it very sturdy though.

Just released my new album on Bandcamp. On about half of the tracks the Pulsar is used. I've only used it in a quite basic way but it's just so awesome even using it with not too much modulation.

edit: okay, I've got no clue how to link stuff here. Sorry about that. Thisd is the link to the Bandcamp page:

nice stuff.
I feel like the pulsar used "simply" is quite recognizable to some extent and requires deep patching to get into wilder sonic territories though, which is a good and bad thing at the same time maybe :)

Yeah, I was thinking of saying which tracks used the Pulsar but it's so easy to hear it's totally unnecessary. :hihi:

I really don't mind that by the way. I love instruments with a very specific sound. Especially if the sound is as good as this.

Here’s one where you probably can’t tell too easily it’s Pulsar ;)

Thank you for the compliment dogoftears. Very nice to hear!

And gosh, that's indeed an example where it's harder to tell it's the Pulsar. Still, the bass gives it away for me. :-)

Pulsar only sound source here. I'm trying some kind of parallel processing with the Noise Engineering Viol Ruina. I took a copy of the Pulsar output and sent it to the Viol Ruina and then into the Erica Synths Fusion Ring Mod, and then put the original Pulsar audio into the other channel of the Ring Mod, and then mixed to taste.

Ring Mod output into an Erica Synths Fusion Delay and Intellijel Multi-FX 1U.
