SOUNDCRAFT 22MTK

Post by Keram » Tue Jul 10, 2018 10:08 am

Hi friends, i am using MOTU audio interface which has some problems, some weird glitches etc,and i want to replace it.Since i want to use many inputs
i was thinking something like Soundcraft MTK 22 my question is that if the MTK
works also as an audio interface.

-Thanks in advance-

Honestly, the would have been an easy search. However, the MTK versions have a built-in audio interface with 12/22+2 inputs and 12/22 outputs simultaneously. The +2 input channels are user selectable between Aux 1/2 and master L/R. Since it`s USB2.0, you`re stuck with 24bit/48KHz. But as an audio interface with this many channels, a quality Soundcraft mixer with onboard effects and Lexicon plugins, this is as much bargain as you`ll ever get.

I have one and adore it. No problems with dropouts/latency/etc. Signal flow is easy, effects are great, everything i was looking for and more. If i HAD to nitpick i'd say it would be nice to have inserts but the routing is flexible enough as is.
